Timber Training Creswick was established in 1987 for the purpose of providing a training sawmill for the forest products industry.

The Timber Training Centre’s vision is to be the pre-eminent centre providing a comprehensive range of training programs and services for the forest products industry in a flexible, responsive and cost effective manner.

The centre is a unique facility in Australia which boasts a modern, commercial scale sawmill; timber drying facilities and planing mill dedicated to training purposes.

Timber Training Creswick is a registered training organisation in all states of Australia and offers nationally accredited courses.
Courses range from Certificate II to Diploma level, with modular training blocks of appropriate competencies for work functions.
Many of our modular training programs can be offered on site as an alternative to at Creswick.

Our courses have a large practical component and low student to teacher ratio. This allows time for students to absorb the theory as it is presented.

Industry sponsorship of the centre from Lucas Mill, STIHL, The Moisture Meter Company and Weinig Australia allows trainees to learn on the latest equipment.

The centre is based in the town of Creswick in Victoria, just outside the major regional city of Ballarat.
