Description
A five day program drawing on units from the Australian Fire Agencies National Competency Standards 1994 and the Public Safety Training Package 2000 to train participants ready for fire suppression activities, focusing on preparedness and personal protection, fire systems and equipment operation and maintenance , fire suppression methods and fire science.
Successful completion of these National Units of Competency may be credited towards achieving a Certificate II or III qualification in Forest Growing and Management.
