Description:
This comprehensive
course covers all major facets of Timber Manufactured Products, and you can
select appropriate electives for working in:
Finger
jointed/gluelaminated timber
Truss and
Frame Fabrication
Truss and
Frame Detailing
Pallet and Box
manufacture
This program
involves learning on the job and or at the Timber Training Centre, Creswick or
truss software suppliers. (depending on units
selected).
It consists of
a number of Units which are aligned with the National Industry Competency
Standards for the Timber Manufactured Products sector of the industry.
These Units are grouped into:
1. Compulsory Core Units
2. Sector and Elective Units:

Cost : 2012 Funded based on 650 student contact hours @ $2.17/sch. Total
number of hours chosen may vary.
