Description:
This comprehensive
course covers all major facets of Forest Growing and Management and
incorporates both learning on the job and at the Training Centre, Creswick. It
consists of a number of Units which are aligned with the National Industry
Competency Standards for the Forest Growing and Management sector of the
industry.
These Units are grouped into:
1. Compulsory Core Units
2. Sector and Elective Units:

A total of 13 units of
competency must be completed:

complete the 6
compulsory units in Group A below
·
select an
additional 3 units from Group B below
·
select an
additional 2 units from Groups B and/or C below
·
select an additional 2 units from Groups B, C and/or D
below.
Assessment
must be conducted in accordance with the Assessment Guidelines.

number of hours chosen may vary.
