Unit FPICOR4201A Monitor safety, health and environment policies and procedures. 80hrs
Duration: Two days of training at Timber Training Creswick or on site (subject to class size) followed by a work based assignment. Assessment will take place at the worksite over the ensuing four months.
Group Size: Offered on
individual basis or group basis.
Class sizes will vary from 6-12.
Description:
This module offers both the skills and some tools to implement a company health and safety program. Participants will receive relevant workcover guidelines, along with sample safe operating procedures, hazard assessments and risk identifications for typical sawmill equipment.
The unit counts as credit towards Certificate IV in Forest Operations or Timber Processing.
